Our Buckfast queens are bred according to the principles of Brother Adam from selected breeding colonies. Mating takes place at the Taubensuhl mating station in the Palatinate Forest. <\/p>\n

The targeted drone selection at the mating site results in a more controlled mating than with naturally mated queens. This makes these queens particularly suitable for beekeepers who value the most uniform colony development possible and proven Buckfast characteristics. <\/p>\n

Mating at a recognized mating station enables more targeted mating with selected drone lines. This means that the offspring can be influenced better than with free-standing mated queens. <\/p>\n
