🐝 Buckfast queen mated at the mating site – Taubensuhl 2026

Our Buckfast queens are bred according to the principles of Brother Adam from selected breeding colonies. Mating takes place at the Taubensuhl mating station in the Palatinate Forest.

The targeted drone selection at the mating site results in a more controlled mating than with naturally mated queens. This makes these queens particularly suitable for beekeepers who value the most uniform colony development possible and proven Buckfast characteristics.

Mating at a recognized mating station enables more targeted mating with selected drone lines. This means that the offspring can be influenced better than with free-standing mated queens.
